Dementia UK is currently seeking a Database Officer to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.

As the Database Officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files from a variety of sources, seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.

In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. Working with the Supporter Care, Finance, and Fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams and maintaining the accuracy of database process guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection guidelines including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will bring previous experience in using databases for data entry, maintenance, and importation. A high level of computer literacy is essential, and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required. Your ability to function effectively within a team, coupled with your initiative in prioritising and organising your workload, will be key to success.

With the charity’s move from Raiser’s Edge to Dynamics 365, you will also be involved in the testing of the new database, training of end users, and the writing of new process documentation. Operational Leadership:

About the post
We are seeking a dedicated feminist with experience in the women’s sector for a short-term role as a Pan-London Sexual Exploitation Caseworker, to cover the post until the current funding ends, expected to be until September 2025.
In the role of Pan-London Sexual Exploitation Caseworker you will hold a small caseload of women who have been subjected to sexual exploitation. You will support those whose choose to report through the criminal justice process. In addition, the role involves providing broader support to women to address the multiple impacts of sexual exploitation and barriers to exiting. In addition, you will co-deliver professionals training delivery to increase professionals understanding of prostitution as a form of violence against women. This post involves travel across London, and a hybrid model of home and office working.

About You

The Journals Marketing Officer will provide essential support in planning, implementing and, measuring the success of marketing activities to increase engagement with our publishing portfolio. Supporting the strategic aims of the Society and the goals of the Journals Marketing and Development Lead, the post-holder will gain experience in researching and executing integrated marketing campaigns to increase submissions from target groups and regions.

The Journals Marketing Officer will drive submissions of research across our six titles through promotional content across the Society’s popular channels and by developing targeted messaging for specific audience groups. An interest in developing Business to Customer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) communications will be crucial to maximise author submissions to our journals and to secure the retention of existing business from institutions. 

The post-holder will be a proactive self-starter, with the ability both to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to gather insights and data to inform and implement targeted marketing campaigns. They will have an interest in monitoring engagement with marketing communications and a drive to continuously learn and improve, undertaking analysis and research and contributing ideas to increase engagement with messaging amongst target audiences.​

What is the Atebion Disability Support Service?
Atebion is a successful Disability Family Support Service, with a good reputation for supporting children, young people and their families with disabilities and additional needs.  The Service has been delivered in Bridgend by Barnardo's since 2014. We offer support to children with a disability and their families, whether they are diagnosed or going through a diagnosis process. The support provided by Atebion is tailored to the needs of each family by a support plan developed in partnership with the family. The service provides short term, preventative support to build families resilience and coping strategies. Our team work directly with all members of the family to empower them to gain a greater understanding of the disability, explore coping strategies to manage difficult feelings and emotional behaviour whilst developing the confidence to access activities within their local community. We support children and young people aged from 0-25 within their home, school and local community.

What will the job involve?
As the Family Support Workers you would provide advice, guidance and support through direct work with children, young people and their families in accordance with the aims and objectives of the service. You will do this by:
•    Working with children, young people and their families, on a one to one or group basis, using a variety of interventions, to identify needs and to achieve positive outcomes.
•    Working in partnership with parents/carers to empower them and to enable them to achieve better outcomes for their children.
•    Working co-operatively with tutelage, health agencies and statutory services to provide the most effective service for children, young people and their families.
•    Contributing to service development.
•    Apply safeguarding and child protection procedures.

The working days of the job include Monday to Friday and you will be responsible for managing your own diary.  However, as Atebion deliver a number of group interventions, you will be required to work evenings on a regular basis during term-time. For example, we deliver one evening parent programme per quarter which runs from 6-8pm and a child/young person support group that runs after school until 6.30pm. 

What are we looking for?
•    An understanding and empathy for the issues facing vulnerable children, young people and their families.
•    Experience of working with children, young people and their families.
•    Ability to listen to and communicate effectively with children, young people, parent/carers and professionals and adapt this where necessary.
•    Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

1. Actively contribute on all aspects of statutory accounts, internal and external audits.
2. Development of financial controls, processes, policies and procedures across income and expenditure areas.

We’re looking for a creative and proactive Email and Supporter Journey Officer to join the Engagement team. This role will be responsible for the effective running of Friends of the Earth's email channel, including writing and editing emails, helping to plan supporter journeys and keeping track of the performance of the channel.

The post holder will work across teams to develop and deliver integrated engagement plans that support organisational and campaign priorities when required.

About This Role

Over the last seven years we have grown into a recognised leader in the fight for menstrual equity. This is underpinned by a strong and diverse fundraising programme at Bloody Good Period, along with a distinctive, stand-out brand which is frequently sought out for highprofile partnerships from partners across industries. We raise c£750K per annum, which delivers our impactful programme of work to meet immediate menstrual health needs via providing period products and menstrual education, and campaigning for long-term change so that we (ultimately) no longer have to do this work.

We are now recruiting a Fundraising Manager to cover parental leave for nine months. It’s an exciting time to join our team, as we build on strong foundations and develop our work in High Value fundraising in particular. This xed term contract will focus on delivering a new strategy for corporate and Major Donor fundraising, as well as line managing a new Fundraising Ocer to deliver our day-to-day fundraising portfolio.

The Comms and Public Affairs position will play a key role in designing and delivering the charity's communications strategy. This role will work closely with our small but mighty team to ensure that all communication activities are aligned with the OUTpatients' charitable mission. Main purpose of the role:

The HR Coordinator would lead HR functions in L’Arche London, overseeing all HR aspects, managing a small team, and coordinating with L’Arche UK for HR support, recruitment, and payroll administration. 
You will play an integral part in the leadership of L’Arche London and will help shape its future development.
